Overnight in Missoula, Mt Mar 18

Montana has a secret we should all know. This state is beautiful, put it on your list to visit. We had a great ride here from Spearfish missing most of the predicted snows till 40 miles out of Missoula. We hit a snowstorm that was simply a whiteout with snowflakes the size of golfballs. We got to Missoula safely and checked into our Holiday Inn and headed into the downtown for a late night meal at the Missoula Club.
You order your burger at the bar...duh no one asks you how you like it done..they are either a well done sgl, dbl or trpl.. with choice of cheese and big onion slab. The crowd was watching Montana grizzlies playing NM in the big dance..btw they lost. We did some tequila, ate our burgers and walked back to the hotel to plan our friday trek to Oregon. Idaho, Washington and Oregon are in our travel sights tomorrow. The plan is to be in Eugene visiting Rachael for the weekend. PS..each day we book our hotels on hotwire.com about a hour before we stop knowing where we will end up. Our Holiday Inn was $119 at the desk but we booked for $49 on hotwire. Place was really nice.
