We met up with our friends Rod and Barb Schaeffer this morning for breakfast. Rod had unplanned major surgery 3 days ago and is rushing the healing as only Rod would do. We got the tour of Spearfish and their home and in the afternoon we (minus rod) headed to Deadwood for the St Patrick day parade. We watched the very weird parade, hit the casinos and gambled at the penny and nickle slots, took in a tour of the rest of wild bill's town, then headed back to Spearfish for dinner and rest before our next days travel. Snow is in the forecast as we head to Montana and our next stop somewhere between Billings and Butte.
